Operating in an exquisitely presented, luminous world - mysterious pair Jadu Heart have returned today with ‘Late Night’; amplifying their vast potential whilst exemplifying the fact that they are one of the most hard-to-pin-down-to-one-genre outfits out there. Signed to Mura Masa’s Anchor Point Records, this is the duo’s first new music to be heard since their acclaimed Wanderflower EP - which introduced them as unquestionable one’s to watch. ‘Late Night’ today solidifies that notion. With an immediately more accessible feel, Dina and Faro (their surnames + location are still being kept under wraps) have opted for a slightly more natural-feeling aesthetic - utilising shuffling live percussion, layering intricate guitar passages and gorgeous vocal harmonies on top. Jadu Heart's second EP (untitled, at the moment) is on its way, but in the meantime, 'Late Night' should make everybody sit up and take notice. -JC
